Who owns noon?
noon launched in 2017, founded by Emirati businessman Mohamed Alabbar together with Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund. It went live in the UAE in October 2017 and in Saudi Arabia in December 2017, has registered entities in both countries and offices in Dubai and Riyadh. It has also owned Namshi since February 2023, and today operates in six Gulf countries and Egypt.
So is noon Saudi or Emirati? Both, in a sense: an Emirati founder, Saudi sovereign investment and legal entities in each country.
Sellers and noon Express
Independent sellers list products on noon alongside noon itself. Items marked noon Express are stored and shipped from noon's own warehouses. Check the seller name and rating before you buy, especially on high-value items.
Warranty and returns
