Why sizes vary so much on Namshi
Namshi sells more than 2,000 brands from different countries, and each uses its own pattern. You could be an M in one and an L in another. Namshi's clothes aren't big or small as a rule; it depends on the brand. The fix is to rely on the centimetre figures in each brand's chart instead of the letter, and to read what other buyers say about fit.
European and Turkish brands sit close to the EU chart, while some Asian brands run smaller.
Abayas and jalabiyas
Abaya sizes are set by length from the top of the shoulder to the ankle, for example 52, 54 or 56 inches. The width is usually generous and fits more than one body size, so length is the number that matters. For dresses, go by chest and hip measurements.
Jeans and trousers in inches
Jeans and trousers on Namshi are often sized in inches as waist × inside leg, such as 32×32. Measure your waist at navel level and divide centimetres by 2.54 to convert. Men's shirts and T-shirts go by chest circumference.
Sportswear and outerwear
Compression tops and tight activewear are designed to cling, so don't size up if you want that effect. For hoodies and jackets, pick a size that allows a layer underneath in winter.
Plus sizes
Several brands on Namshi have plus-size ranges. Use the size filter and check each brand's chart, because XL differs from one label to another.

Order one item from an unfamiliar brand first, confirm the fit, then buy more with confidence. Save your measurements in a note on your phone. How to measure yourself for Namshi
