Tabby & Tamara installment calculator
Calculate each Tabby or Tamara payment (4 interest-free payments) and longer plans, applying your discount code first.
In short
- Code first, then split
- Apply your discount code, then divide what's left. Every instalment is smaller that way.
- Worked example
- A SAR 4,000 phone with a 10% code capped at 150 costs SAR 3,850; over 4 payments that's SAR 962.50 each.
- Supported stores
- noon, Namshi and Level Shoes all support Tabby and Tamara in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

How interest-free instalments work
When you choose Tabby or Tamara at checkout, the total is split into a set number of payments, usually three or four, collected monthly or every two weeks depending on the plan. Short plans normally carry no interest, and the first payment is taken when you buy.
Longer plans cost more
Some stores offer six- or twelve-month plans, which may include fees or profit set by the provider. Always check the final total before you agree, and enter it in the calculator to see the real monthly figure.
Tabby or Tamara?
Both split the bill into interest-free payments on short plans. The differences are in the number of instalments available, purchase limits and each store's terms. On Namshi, for example, Tamara offers three payments with a limit of up to 5,000. Pick whichever option appears at checkout with the limit that suits your basket.
Instalment examples after the code
| Basket | Code saving | Amount to split | Per payment (×4) |
|---|---|---|---|
| SAR 4,000 (noon, first order) | SAR 150 cap | SAR 3,850 | SAR 962.50 |
| SAR 250 (Namshi) | SAR 50 | SAR 200 | SAR 50 |
| AED 2,000 (Level Shoes, star item) | AED 200 | AED 1,800 | AED 450 |
A note on noon cashback and instalments
noon's AUC64 is a cashback code, so it doesn't reduce the amount charged at checkout; the cashback lands in noon Credits after delivery. For noon orders the instalment amount stays the same, but you get money back to spend later. Namshi's ANP9 and Level Shoes' ACD99 are instant discounts, so they genuinely shrink every instalment.
When instalments make sense
- For bigger purchases such as phones and appliances.
- When the payments fit comfortably within your monthly budget.
- When there are no extra fees.
- After applying a discount code to shrink the amount being split.
Watch out for
Late payments can trigger fees and may affect your credit record. Bank card offers usually don't apply when you pay with Tabby or Tamara, so compare the savings. Don't stack several instalment plans at once if together they exceed your monthly budget, and check that each due date lines up with your payday.
If you return an item, the refund goes back to your instalment account. Compare with noon's 0% bank instalments on the noon Saudi installments page or noon UAE installments page.
Using the calculator
Enter the item price, the code's percentage and its cap, then the number of instalments. The calculator applies the capped discount first and divides the rest evenly. Try a scenario without the code too, so you can see exactly how much each payment drops thanks to the discount.
Numbers go in as plain digits, without commas or currency symbols. Nothing you type is stored, and no account is needed.
Instalments versus cash on delivery
Some shoppers pick cash on delivery for budget reasons. Splitting with Tabby or Tamara avoids COD fees altogether (SAR 18 on noon Saudi, AED 12 on noon UAE, SAR 34 on Namshi Saudi, AED 15 on Namshi UAE) while still spreading the cost. On a small order that fee can be larger than the code saving itself.
Plan the dates, not just the amounts
An instalment that is affordable on the 25th may be painful on the 5th. Before you confirm, look at when each payment will be collected and make sure the card behind it has funds on those days.
