Three ways to pay later, often confused

Instalments on noon KSA come in three distinct forms. Tabby and Tamara split the total into a few short payments. Bank instalment plans spread the cost over 3 or 6 months (12 with some banks) on a participating bank's credit card. And Quara financing can provide up to SAR 30,000 as noon balance.

For an expensive device, the bank plan is often the best of the three: it's interest-free and, according to noon's help centre, it can be combined with a promo code. You need an order over SAR 1,000 and a credit card from a participating bank.

Watch for processing fees

The plan is interest-free, but the bank may charge a small processing fee. Check it on the confirmation screen before agreeing, because on a smaller order the fee can erase much of the benefit.

Instalments vs a bank discount

Don't confuse a bank instalment plan with a bank card discount. The discount offer can't be used with a promo code in the same order; the instalment plan can. If a card discount is bigger than AUC64 for your basket, you can still take it, but you'll lose the code. Details on noon bank offers.

Tabby and Tamara

Both are offered at checkout and split the amount into short interest-free payments. Our Tabby and Tamara calculator shows each payment after a discount is applied.

Buying a phone on instalments

iPhones and other phones can be bought through Tabby, Tamara or a bank plan if the order exceeds SAR 1,000. Since some affiliate networks exclude iPhones from codes, check whether AUC64 appears in the summary; if not, a bank plan on its own still spreads the cost without interest. See noon mobiles.

Who should use which option

If your order is under SAR 1,000, bank instalments aren't available, so Tabby or Tamara is the route if you want to spread the cost. Above SAR 1,000 with a credit card from a participating bank, the 0% bank plan usually gives smaller monthly payments and keeps the code. If you need a larger amount, Quara financing can credit up to SAR 30,000 to your noon balance, but read its terms carefully.

Pay attention to the minimum

The SAR 1,000 threshold applies to the order total. If you're just short, check whether a planned purchase takes you over it, rather than adding something unnecessary.

Check the plan at checkout

The instalment option appears on the payment page once your order qualifies. Select your bank and the 3 or 6-month term, and read the processing fee (if any) before confirming.

Instalments during sales

Big sales such as Yellow Friday are when many shoppers buy expensive items. Combining a sale price, a 0% bank plan and AUC64 cashback is one of the few ways to layer three benefits on a single noon order.
