The golden rule: read the whole message
If the voucher message says 'gift card' or 'balance', it belongs in noon Credits in your account. If it says 'discount code' or 'coupon', it goes into the coupon field in the cart. If it still doesn't work, check the expiry date, the minimum order and the country: Saudi noon vouchers do not work on noon UAE.
Activating a noon voucher
- Copy the code exactly as it arrived.
- For a gift card: in the noon app go to Account, then Credits or gift cards, and enter the code.
- For a discount code: enter it in the coupon field on the cart page.
- Check the validity date and any minimum spend in the voucher message.
The 'invalid code' mistake
A very common error is typing a gift card number into the coupon field, which returns 'code not valid'. A gift card has to be added to noon Credits first; the balance is then used automatically at payment.
If an Al Rajhi voucher shows an error even though it looks right, contact the bank first, since it issued the voucher. Some vouchers are also limited to a category or a minimum order, and gift balances can't be transferred to a bank.
Voucher or AUC64?
Because only one code applies per order, a discount-code voucher competes with AUC64. A SAR 500 basket with AUC64 gets you SAR 50 cashback. If your voucher is worth more than that for this basket, use the voucher now and keep AUC64 for another order.
A gift card is different: once it becomes credit it behaves like balance, and noon treats balance as a payment method that doesn't combine with some offers.

Beware of cheap vouchers
Official vouchers from banks and employers are free. Anyone selling 'noon vouchers' below face value on social media is very likely running a scam. Never pay for a voucher from an unknown seller.
Expiry and transfers
Most vouchers expire after a fixed period stated in the message. An unused code can often be passed to someone else, but once a gift card is redeemed into an account the balance stays with that account.
Voucher from a payment partner
Vouchers from partners such as Tamara or Quara usually come with their own conditions: a campaign period, a minimum basket or a specific category. Read those conditions in the partner's message rather than assuming they match noon's regular codes, and redeem them before the campaign ends.
Keep the original message
