Why 'cash on delivery unavailable' appears
- The order total is above SAR 6,500.
- The basket contains a Global Store item or something that requires prepayment.
- You chose a pickup locker or a gift address.
- Previous refused deliveries have disabled the option on your account.
Turning it on at checkout
Fill your cart, then choose cash on delivery on the payment page. If the option is missing, remove any Global Store items, make sure the total is below SAR 6,500 and check that the address isn't a locker.
Cash and the code
Paying cash doesn't stop you using AUC64: the cashback is still added to noon Credits after delivery. A SAR 300 basket with AUC64 gets you SAR 30 cashback. Just remember the SAR 18 fee reduces the net saving, and it isn't refunded if you return the item after delivery.
Refunds on cash orders

Is cash ever the better choice?
Cash makes sense if you don't have a card or you're sending an order to someone who will pay at the door. For everyone else, the maths favours paying in advance: SAR 18 is more than the cashback an existing customer earns with AUC64 on any order below SAR 360. In other words, cash on delivery can cancel out the entire code saving.
