How to return an item on Namshi

Usually you just hand the item to the courier in its original bag with the return number; you'll get a confirmation message on pickup. Print a return label only if asked.

• Go to your account, then Orders.
• Select the item, tap Return and choose a reason.
• Pick the pickup address and time slot.
• Hand over the item in original condition with tags.
• Track the refund status from your account.

When your money comes back

How long the whole process takes

Pickup happens within one or two days, then the quality check usually takes four to five days, and in rare cases up to 30. The refund then follows your payment method. Note that the cash-on-delivery fee isn't refunded once an order has been delivered.

The security tag ring

Removing or damaging the security tag ring can reduce your refund by up to 30% under Namshi's policy. Keep it on until you're certain about the fit.

Items that can't be returned

The Arabic version of Namshi's return policy lists more non-returnable categories than the English one, including homeware, swimwear, ceramics, contact lenses and baby supplies such as nappies. If a product page says it can't be returned or exchanged, don't expect to send it back.

Special cases

• Bought with a code: you get back the amount you actually paid, and the return doesn't stop you using ANP9 again later.
• Buy-two offers: returning one item may cancel the offer discount.
• Damaged on arrival: report it immediately with photos rather than waiting for a normal return.
• Global items from international sellers: returns are possible, exchanges aren't.

If a return is rejected

The usual reasons are missing tags, signs of wear or a non-returnable category. Ask for the reason in writing via care@namshi.com with photos of the item as received, or call the toll-free number 800 2466 744.

Tips for a smooth return

Start the return as soon as you know an item isn't right, rather than near day 14, so the pickup and quality check run comfortably inside the window. Pack the item in its original bag with every tag attached, and include accessories such as belts or dust bags. Take a quick photo before handing it to the courier; if anything is disputed after the quality check, those photos make your case far stronger.

Paying with returns in mind

If you think you might return something, avoid cash on delivery. The SAR 34 fee isn't refunded after delivery, and your money comes back as wallet credit rather than to a bank account. Paying with Tabby or Tamara gives the fastest refund, within 24 hours after the quality check.
